MOTORCYCLE ACCIDENT INJURES MILLSTONE MAN - Taken To Roane General Hospital

A Millstone man received multiple injuries Thursday afternoon when his motorcycle went out of control on the south end of the Mt. Zion Ridge on Route 16. Rudolph "Rudy" Straub, described as being in his sixties, was taken to Roane General Hospital shortly after 3 p.m. by Calhoun EMS.

The accident happened in a slight curve about one-quarter mile north of Millstone Hill.

Sources at the scene said he was complaining of pain around his ribs, abrasions and possible fractures. Deputy Sheriff Carl Ballengee investigated the accident. The Arnoldsburg VFD also responded.
