The West Virginia Legislature passed several issues related to hunting during this year's session.
-Allowing muzzleloading firearms to have telescopic sights.
-Change a law that bans hunters from carrying a concealed weapon. Can now carry weapon while hunting, hiking or camping.
-A law that expands the provisions for hunting wild animals and birds to include trapping.
-A bill that would allow Ohio hunters and fisherman to cross state borders without obtaining separate WV licenses.
-Give out-of-state children the chance to buy junior sportsman's hunting, fishing and trapping licenses.
