Three people have been arrested in connection with the shooting death of a Parkersburg man. Arrests have been made after police found the victim, 28-year-old Eric Dunn, about midnight last night. Parkersburg police responded to a report that shots had been fired. Dunn had been shot in the head and torso, and died at Parkersburg hospital. One of the suspects, 26-year-old Rickey Ratel, reportedly had a dispute with Dunn earlier in the evening. Ratel and two friends allegedly followed a vehicle in which Dunn was a passenger. When the vehicles stopped, Ratel allegedly fired at Dunn with a semi-automatic pistol. All three suspects, residents of Parkersburg, reportedly fled the area. 27-year-old Timothy Hill and 26-year-old Brian Lee, turned themselves in to police and were arrested on charges of conspiracy to commit murder. Ratel was arrested at about 6 a.m., charged with murder and conspiracy to commit murder. |
