![]() The National Weather Service map projecting rainfall and wind from Hurricane Katrina was altered early Monday to exclude most of West Virginia - subject to change. Rain from the hurricane is projected to start hitting this region on Tuesday. The current rainfall is not related to the hurricane. FORECAST Today: Partly cloudy with a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms this morning...then mostly cloudy with a chance of showers and thunderstorms this afternoon. Highs in the lower 80s. Southeast winds around 5 mph. Chance of rain 40 percent. Tonight: Partly cloudy in the evening...then becoming mostly cloudy. A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Lows in the upper 60s. Southeast winds around 5 mph. Chance of rain 40 percent. Tuesday: A chance of showers and thunderstorms in the morning...then showers likely with a chance of thunderstorms in the afternoon. Humid with highs in the lower 80s. South winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 60 percent.
