Wayne News

Adkins, of Beech Fork, was in Wayne last Saturday and from him we learn that his daughter and her child were bitten by a cat several weeks ago, are not likely to have further trouble from the effects of the bite. They were taken to Baltimore immediately and treated. The head of the cat was taken for examination and the surgeons were satisfied that the animal had hydrophopia. They experimented by giving particles of the head to other animals and in every case the animal died. The cat fought the child viciously and followed it and the mother some distance before it was driven off.
