The town council met Thursday and let the franchise for lighting and
heating the town by natural gas from the well on the Hardman place, north-west
of town. The franchise calls for a term of five years. The
rate is twenty-five cents per thousand cubic feet. The pipe line
is to be started within eight months and completed within one year. |
