Quake Puts Atty. Stevenson out Window in 1897

Transcribed by Norma Knotts Shaffer from microfilm of the Calhoun Chronicle dated 6/8/1897.

W.L. Stevenson was not scared at the shaking up the earth quake gave us, and took plenty of time (?) to consider the matter before taking any decisive steps, and then went out of his office window.  It goes without saying, however, he was in no hurry about it.
