Creston and Back in a Day Envisioned in 1901

Transcribed by Norma Knotts Shaffer from microfilm of the Calhoun Chronicle dated 7/23/1901.

Norm Williams has sold his gasolene boat, the Hurricane, to K. Stevens and Simon Chancy, who have taken charge of it, and will come in for a share of the freight patronage of our people.  They are hustling boys and no doubt will do a good business. Capt. Williams informs us he is building another boat and thinks it will be one with which he can make a round trip to Creston in one day.
