Foster H. Williams was viciously attacked by a young man by the name
of Lidel Powell, of Glenville, last Wednesday evening and received very
severe wounds from fist-blows. It seems that some one had informed
the police of some of Powell's misdeeds, for which he was arrested, and
thinking it was Foster, he struck him a terrible blow in the mouth which
knocked him senseless and cut a severe gash in his lip. Powell was
arrested and fined $36.00 and sentenced to 30 days in jail. Fos is
all right now and at work.
