Six masked men entered the dwelling of Wm. D. Greathouse the other night,
supposing he had considerable cash from a sale of his farm. Failing
to find what they went after, the villians attacked Mr. Greathouse and
beat him up shamefully trying to make him reveal where his money
was hidden. They also misused his wife. No arrests have been
made yet, but the perpetrators are known and are being closely watched,
and at the proper time they will be taken up. |
