Why Not a Hospital Here
During the past week or ten days there have been in the Parkersburg
hospitals from this county many patients. We know of at least a dozen
who are there now and there are probably several others of whom we have
not heard. Consequently we ask, "Why not a modern and up-to-date
hospital at Grantsville?"
Each year there are hundreds of patients taken from this county to hospitals
in Parkersburg and Spencer, and we believe that our surgeons are as competent
to handle the cases as any in either of the above mentioned places.
Let's look into the matter and see if we cannot support a first-class institution.
