Addition to Cabot Station
Work on the erection of an addition to Cabot Station, the Hope Natural
Gas Company's large pumping station two miles below Grantsville, will be
commenced within the next few days. In fact the work has already
begun, the quarries for the immense amount of stone that will be used having
been opened last week. Construction work will be commenced this week
and will be rushed as fastly as possible.
The addition will be 25 feet in length and will house another big 1,500
horse power engine and pump which will be shipped in on water this Spring.
There are now six engines and pumps of like nature an capacity in the station.
The engine which will be installed this Spring will be shipped from
Proctor, Wetzel county.
