Mrs. Dave Smith found a dynamite cap on the back porch of her home at
Upper Big Run last Saturday morning. Not knowing what it was she
picked it with a pin which caused it to explode. It exploded in her
left hand, tearing off all the fingers on her left hand. Mrs. Smith
underwent a serious operation in a hospital in Charleston just a few weeks
ago and it is reported that the explosion tore the incision. She
was taken to a hospital in Charleston and the latest report indicated that
there was little hope for her recovery. |
