Boy Falls on an Open Knife and is Seriously Cut
On last Sunday, at Eden, this county, a small son of Robert Sharps fell
on an open knife and was seriously, if not fatally cut. The boy was
playing with the knife in his hand, and while running, he stumbled and
fell, and the knife was caught in such a position that the blade penetrated
his left breast, inflicting an ugly and dangerous wound. When found
he was unconscious from loss of blood. Medical aid was at once summoned,
and the wound dressed and it is now thought if no serious complications
set in, he will recover. |
