SS Store Robbed
Burglars entered the store of Cleo Gainer & Company in South Grantsville
Friday night and made away with a small sum of money left in the register
and numerous articles of clothing and groceries.
Entrance was effected by breaking a window towards the rear of the building.
O.W. Hathaway, manager of the store, was unable to make a complete check
of missing articles, but was in no doubt that a considerable list of goods
had been taken.
State police from the Glenville detachment investigated the robbery,
but so far no arrests have been made. |
