Some person threw a dog button into the yard where "Dick" Hays and Earl
Stump keep their canine friends Saturday morning before daylight, and a
very valuable hound belonging to Earl Stump, was killed. It may
be that the dogs are a nuisance, but even were they sneaking, thieving
and treacherous, they would not be half so mean and low, and as little
entitled to respect as the person who administered the "stretch nine." |
