As our town is practically a new place we think it not of place to say
a few words about it. It is situate on Rush Run one and
three fourth miles South of Dodrill, six and one fourth North of Millstone,
contains three lodges viz: The Improved Order O fellows, and Daughters
of Pocahontas, a grist, saw, planing, and shingle mill, stores, post office,
school and plenty of good honest citizens who are always glad to do good
to any one who deserves help. |
