D.E. Stutler has sold his parcel of land lying between High Street and
Burrows run to Robert Geho for $80. The purchaser will at once begin
the erection of a building on it, just across from the Baptist church,
to be used as a laundry. The intention is to put in a steam laundry
soon, but for the present it will be run by Chinese. It is expected
to have the laundry in operation by the middle of May. Thus the new
enterprises come this way, and Grantsville will be a city before we know
it. |
