High Marks for Blind Student
Seldon Brannon, of Orma, this county, one of the graduates of the High
School for the Blind at Romney, last year entered Glenville Normal School
in September for the current school year. We are glad this young
man, who made a splendid record in his work at the Blind School, is making
among the best grades in Glenville Normal. He passed his preliminary
examinations at Glenville with fine grades, making as high as one hundred
percent in some subjects and not falling below ninety-five percent in any.
Seldon says he is going to prove that a blind man may succeed in the world.
We hope that he will make as good a record at Glenville State Normal as
he did here, and we wish him all the success that is due a big hearted
ambitious young man. |
