SUNDAY WV COVID-19 REPORT - Calhoun Had Record 72 Cases Past Two Weeks

Four coronavirus-related deaths were reported Sunday in West Virginia.

Calhoun had two new cases Sunday.

39 cases last week and 33 cases the previous week.

West Virginia’s active case total continues to decline, dropping to 6,436 on Sunday. The state added 238 new positive cases for the day. The daily positive test rate came in at 4.06%, while the overall positive test rate declined slightly from 5.13% to 5.12%.

As of Saturday, there were 254 hospitalizations from the virus, including 83 people in intensive care and 35 on ventilators.
