TUESDAY WV COVID-19 REPORT - 344 NEW CASES

WV has 344 new positive COVID-19 cases Tuesday.

The active case total is 7,140. The overall positive test rate remained at 5.15% while the daily positive test rate went from 6.63% to 4.97%.

As of data from Monday, there were 214 people hospitalized with the virus, including 71 in intensive care and 28 people on ventilators.

Overall, 600,343 have been fully vaccinated in the state. There have been 144,320 COVID-19 recoveries since the pandemic started.
