COVID-19 VACCINATIONS REDUCED FOR CALHOUN - Action Needed

(02/18/2021)
Minnie Hamilton Health Care says the original allotment of 400 doses of the COVID vaccine for Calhoun County residents was reduced this week to 120 as a result of limited resident registrations on the state registry system, Everbridge.

Gov. Jim Justice said he was concerned that Calhoun, Gilmer and Clay Counties were not requesting the vaccinations.

To ensure future vaccination allotments are not reduced, we are asking all residents above the age of 16, please go to the website listed below or call the toll free number listed to register for your vaccination.  Specifically, those residents that are 60 years or older.

It is imperative that quick action is taken on this request.  Please communicate this need to your family members or friends who may not have access to these postings.
