CALHOUN 4-H AND FFA WILL HAVE VIRTUAL 2020 LIVESTOCK SALE

(09/22/2020)

The Calhoun County Youth Livestock Program invites all business and individuals to participate in the 2020 Calhoun County 4-H and FFA Youth Livestock Sale. This year's show and sale is virtual due to the pandemic.

The youth have continued to work hard with their livestock project, even though it was uncertain what this year would look like in terms of a show and sale.

All the 4-H and FFA Youth recorded videos of them showing their project at home and also record showmanship questions. The virtual show is being judged this week and the sale will be online through Cowbuyer.com in a virtual format.

To support the 4-H and FFA Youth Livestock participants you can bid on animals from Thursday, September 24 through Saturday, September 26 at 8:00 p.m. Simply go to the above website and look for Calhoun County WV Youth Livestock Sale.

Due to limited harvest facility space and the current local pandemic situation the sale will be a premium auction only and youth will retain their livestock project. If you have any questions about the sale please reach out to Daisy Bailey at 304-462-7061. As always the Calhoun County Livestock Committee appreciates all the local support shown to the program and youth participants.
