WOMAN STABBED - A woman was seriously hurt Tuesday in a stabbing that happened in Huntington.

The victim, who is 36, was taken to St. Mary’s Medical Center with a stab wound. Her medical condition is unknown at this time.

The woman told police that the suspect is her boyfriend – identified as Cody Davis of Huntington. Davis is in his early to mid-20s.

Police were called to the scene to investigate just before 4:30 p.m. Tuesday.

PARKERSBURG ROBBERY - A man considered by police to be armed and dangerous remains at large after an alleged armed robbery in Parkersburg more than a week ago.

According to Parkersburg Police, Dalton Painter and two other people who have already been arrested on armed-robbery charges - Nicholas Proscia II, 20, and Taylor Starcher, 18 - allegedly coerced a man to meet them at 1211 Williams St., on Oct. 14.

When the man arrived, police said he was hit in the head with a broom handle and pistol-whipped. He was robbed of $300 and an I-Phone XR. The suspects then allegedly used a key taken from the victim's pocket to remove a Glock 19 pistol with three magazines from his vehicle.

During the investigation, Police said Proscia and Starcher were both arrested at the residence - Proscia on Oct. 16 and Starcher on Oct.17. They are being held without bond at the North Central Regional Jail.
