TOWN OF CLENDENIN DONATES NEW CRUISER TO CALHOUN SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT

(10/18/2019)

After hearing about the Calhoun Sheriff's Department's lack of funding, and the need to retire some unreliable cruisers, the Town of Clendenin has recently donated a 2012 Ford Expedition to the Calhoun Sheriff's Department.

Pictured is Sheriff Jeff Starcher with Clendenin Town Councilman and former Calhoun resident Mike Stout, who also serves as the fleet manager for the Town of Clendenin. The new cruiser has approximately 86,000 miles and came fully equipped, with the exception of an emergency radio.

Sheriff Jeff Starcher said, "We are grateful for the Town of Clendenin's generosity and appreciate their thoughtfulness during these tough times. The donation of this cruiser couldn't have came at a better time".

Sheriff Starcher and Chief Deputy Jason Chang took delivery of the new cruiser on Monday.
