CUFFED TASK FORCE ARRESTS 11 IN FOUR COUNTIES

Eleven fugitives were arrested last week by a task force during a warrant sweep in Kanawha, Roane, Clay and Calhoun counties.

The names of those arrested have not been released.

The warrants served by the CUFFED Task Force included charges related to drug offenses, robbery, burglary and child neglect, according to a news release from the U.S. Marshals Service.

CUFFED Task Force Officers from the Roane County Sherriff’s Office, the West Virginia State Police, West Virginia Division of Corrections, Jackson County Sherriff’s Office, Hurricane Police Department, Spencer Police Department, Ravenswood Police Department and the U.S. Marshals Service participated in the warrant sweep.

CUFFED stands for Cops United Felony Fugitive Enforcement Division.
