GRANTSVILLE GETS $1 MILLION TO UPGRADE WATER TREATMENT FACILITIES

Nine projects throughout West Virginia will get a share of $7.1 million in grants from the Appalachian Regional Commission Investment Program.

The Town of Grantsville will get one million dollars for Grantsville Water Treatment Plant improvements.

Grantsville will upgrade its water treatment plant and facilities, which currently have inadequate storage capacity and other operating deficiencies.

The Grantsville plant also provides public water to the Pleasant Hill and Mt. Zion PSDs.
