Cabot Station was a Calhoun landmark, from its early days as a carbon black factory to becoming one of the areas largest compressor stations to push natural gas out of the county.

The Hope Natural Gas Company operated the station with its giant engines for much of the last century.

The complex has been closed and removed for several years and is now part of the counties oil and gas history.
