Faye T. Elmore, 86, - Parkersburg

Faye T. Elmore, 86, of Parkersburg, West Virginia, died at 2:45 p.m., Sunday, December 7, 2003, in the St. Joseph's Hospital, Parkersburg. She was born November 17, 1917, in Calhoun County, a daughter of the late Ernest Ray and Anna Hicks Harold. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Otmer Elmore; two great grandchildren, Ashley Elmore and Stacey Shaffer. Mrs. Elmore was a retired motel owner and operator in the Orlando, Florida area. She was also a charter member of the Linden Chapter No. 152, Order of the Eastern Star, Linden and a member of the South Parkersburg Baptist Church. Survivors include a daughter, Sharon Drake of Rockport; a son, Ray Elmore of Tariff; a sister, Susie Boggs of Cocoa, FL; four grandchildren and five great grandchildren. A funeral service will be conducted Wednesday, December 10 at 11 a.m. in the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, with the Rev. Robert A. "Bob" Keen officiating.
