REPORTS OF SPOTLIGHTING AND TRESPASSING - Deer Season Opens, Need "Big Buck" Pictures

(11/25/2003)
Numerous complaints were reported through Calhoun Control 911 regarding spotlighting and trespassing, related to the opening of deer season.

Law enforcement was busy responding to the calls yesterday afternoon and evening.

No accidents were reported.

A deer count from the check-in stations was unavailable last night, but will be obtained Tuesday morning.

Hunters who kill that trophy buck are asked to call the Hur Herald at 354-6183. The Herald intends to photograph "Big Buck Pictures," or hunters can scan their own photos and send them by e-mail to bob@hurherald.com.
