4-H MEMBERS RECOGNIZED FOR EFFORTS - Achievement Awards Dinner
Calhoun County Extension Agent
The Calhoun Middle-High School Commons Area was the site of this year's Achievement Awards and Covered Dish Dinner on November, 10, 2003. One hundred and twenty people came out for the evening to celebrate, learn and visit with friends and invited guests.
Debbie McDonald, 4-H Youth Development Director, was the evening's keynote speaker and special guests Madison Sergent from Roane County, and Sarah Offutt from Wirt County, provided their state winning Visual Presentation and Public Speaking projects.
This year there were 30 poster winners and 26 project winners in 14 different categories. In addition, this year's "I Dare You" award winner was recognized along with Outstanding 4-H Members, Leader and Years of Service Award winners.
