APPALACHIAN CLASSIC MOVED TO SEPTEMBER IN 2004

Submitted by Diann Clothier The Appalachian Classic Mountain Bike Race and Festival, the 2004 WV Mountain Bike Association's Point Series Championship Race for 2004 will be in September, instead of June. The tentative date for the race will be the weekend of September 18-19, 2004. Anyone wishing to help out with the race organization, fund-raising, finding sponsors, trail work, race marshaling, the pond jump, etc., should contact Jim Bennett, Race Director, at jbennett@calhounbanks.com "We will need some extra help this year to make the Championship race an extra-special event for WV's mountain bike racers," said Bennett.
