Elizabeth E. Knopp, 91 - Spencer

Elizabeth E. Knopp, 91, of Spencer, died Tuesday, November 18, 2003, in the Miletree Healthcare Center, Spencer, after an extended illness. She was born November 7, 1912, at Gay, a daughter of the late Sandusky and Maggie Parsons Harpold. Mrs. Knopp was a homemaker and a member of the Mt. Zion Community Church, Gay. Survivors include her husband, Durward Knopp, Sr. of Spencer; one daughter, Connie Starcher of Spencer; two sons, Howard Knopp of Leon and Durward Knopp, Jr. of Ripley; eight grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers and four sisters. A funeral service will be conducted Saturday, November 22 at 1:00 p.m. in the Mt. Zion Community Church, with the Rev. Daniel R. "Danny" Whited officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Zion Cemetery, Gay. Friends may call at the John H.
