| Christopher Edwin Phoenix Alfred, 2 days old, of 3248 Vadis Road, Alum Bridge, West Virginia, died at 1:05 p.m. on Sunday, November 16, 2003, in West Virginia University's Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV.
Born at 5:40 p.m. on Friday, November 14, 2003, in St. Joseph's Hospital in Buckhannon, WV, he was a son of Christopher Dale Alfred and Felicia Dawne (Lamp) Alfred, who reside in Alum Bridge.
He was a Methodist by faith.
Survivors also include maternal grandparents, Herbert and Michele Morrell of Grantsville, WV; paternal grandparents, Edwin A. and Donna J. Alfred of Alum Bridge; maternal great-grandparents, Lou E. Grimm and Lewis C. Smith of Belpre, Ohio, and Bill and Marie Morrell of Grantsville; paternal great-grandparents, Marjorie B. Alfred of Alum Bridge, and George and Betty Hardbarger of Harrisville, WV; several aunts and uncles including Amanda D. Alfred and Eric S. Fisher of Alum Bridge, Alicia D. Morrell of Grantsville, and Kenneth and Teresa Harris of Grantsville; several great-aunts and uncles, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by paternal great-grandfather, Oran Dale Alfred and maternal great-grandfather, Kenneth Dale Grimm.
Friends were received at Floyd Funeral Home of Weston, WV, graveside services and interment were held at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, November 18, 2003, at Carder Cemetery in Vadis, WV, with Pastor Linda Muehly officiating.
