MILLSTONE, WHERE THE BUFFALO ROAM - Yes, You Can Stop And Gawk

Jack Marks of Millstone said he always wanted to have buffalo on his farm, so folks driving up and down the road would slow down and exclaim "Is that buffalo?" Marks has seven of the large animals on his hillside farm. The big boy bull (top picture) is "Buffy," who wasn't exactly happy we were taking his picture. Marks and his buffalo escapades is the subject of a story in last week's Times-Record/Roane County Reporter. Marks' other hobby is having a Halloween party for his neighbors every year, visible in the Hur Herald a few days ago.
