| Lona Jane White, 102, of Barberton, Ohio, formerly of sand Ridge, Calhoun County, West Virginia, passed away November 6, in Magonlia Health Care Center in Wadsworth, Ohio.
Born at Uler, Roane County, she was a daughter of the late John and Lena Cochran Drake. She was a homemaker and was a member of the Walton, Full Gospel Church, Walton, WV.
Surviving are a daughter, Mildren Simmons and her husband William of Barberton, Ohio; a son, Verbis White of Akron, Ohio; a brother, Ronsel Drake of Ivydale, WV; grandchildren, Janet Payne of Newport Beach, CA, Donald White, Vickie White, and Jerry White all of Ohio; Alan Simmons of Lake Elsinore, CA, Karen Boothe of Grantsville, WV, Gene White of NJ and Bobby Conrad; also several great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence White and a son, Clarence White, Jr.
Funeral services will be held Monday, November 10, 2003, 11:30 a.m., at Stump Funeral Home, Arnoldsburg. Rev. Olive Swiney will officiate. Interment will be in the Mace-White Cemetery, Sand Ridge. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to services.
