Roy H. Kavanaugh, passed away Oct.28, 2003 in Brighton, MI. and now awaits the Life-Giver.

He was the only son of Gustave Kavanaugh and Elsie Kavanaugh Levy, born January 28,1924.

Survivors are, his wife Ruth Henriques, whom he married 51 years ago, two sons, Arthur and Brian, grandchildren, great grandchildren, an uncle of 102+, and an aunt of 100, cousins, and a host of friends throughout the world.

Mr. Kavanaugh retired to Chloe, West Virginia in 1986. He gave his heart to God and was baptized into the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Florida in 1938. He was a deacon, Sabbath School teacher and treasurer of the SDA Church in Spencer, WV. He may be remembered delivering citrus, even in winter to homes in Calhoun and Roane Counties each year. His spare time was spent getting in wood so widows could be warm, or taking them to the store or to the doctor. Despite physical disabilities because of a brain tumor, he often mowed widow's lawns and brought them food.

A memorial service was held at the Livingston Seventh Day Adventist Church in Howell, Michigan on November 1, 2003.
