| David Hugh Wilson, 57, of Grantsville, passed away November 2, 2003 at Minnie Hamilton Health Care Center.
Born in Calhoun County, March 18, 1946, he was a son of Juanita L. Wilson of Five Forks and the late Hugh G. Wilson. He was a US Army Veteran and was a truck driver most of his life. He was a member of the Rush Run Baptist Church near Stumptown.
Surviving in addition to his mother are two brothers, Charles Wilson and his wife Anna Lou and Spence Wilson and his wife Charlotte all of Parkersburg; two sisters, Connie Bailey and her husband, Gary of Vienna and Carole Weekley and her husband Carroll of Parkersburg.
Special thanks to the staff and caregivers of Minnie Hamilton Long Term Care Unit, where David has resided for the last six and a half years. Also special thanks to two special aunts, Mary Starkey of Grantsville and Billie Smith of Charlotte, SC.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 5 at Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville. Rev. Carroll McCauley will officiate. Interment will be in thew Sand Ridge Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the services Wednesday.
