In addition to recognizing each of them and their award-winning selections, state winners will be announced, writing workshops will be led by authors and a keynote speaker will address the group.

The following students will be honored. Their selections were judged to be outstanding in a county competition. Other students will be recognized for the high quality of their selections at a county awards ceremony on May 31 at the middle-high school auditorium. Grades 11-12: "Solitude," by Scottie Westfall and "Stranger on the Road," by Darris Hupp. Grades 9-10: "The Bait," by Steven Griffin and "The Move," by Jake Krack.
