OBSCENE CALL MADE TO 911

(10/24/2003)
Grantsville State Police would not confirm they are investigating an obscene phone call made to a female 911 dispatcher at Calhoun Control last weekend.

The incident reportedly happened on the after midnight shift, with the phone call reportedly made from a cellular phone.

All 911 calls are automatically recorded, and generally can be traced.

STATE POLICE HAVE TRANSFERS

Two more transfers affecting the Grantsville Detachment of the West Virginia State Police involve the sending of Trooper Fred Hammack to Spencer and the return of Trooper Doug Starcher to Grantsville.

Starcher has assumed his duties in Calhoun, where he previously served.

Sgt. Darrin Campbell of Wirt County is the new detachment commander.
