HUNTER INJURED BY SHOTGUN BLAST - Incident Under Investigation

A man who was squirrel hunting in Gilmer county last Thursday reportedly received some minor injuries from a shotgun blast, according to Lt. Dunn with the DNR in Parkersburg. Dunn said the man was identified as Fred V. Gainer, a current resident of Delaware. His condition was described as good. Since the incident is still under investigation, details of the shooting were not available. The investigating officer was DNR officer Denzil Hess of Glenville.
