The collision happened in a sharp turn in front of the Burning Springs Bed and Breakfast.

Trooper C. J. Weekley of the State Police detachment in Elizabeth said Barrickman was traveling west in a 1997 Saturn, when the vehicle went left of center in the curve.

Members of Wirt EMS and the Elizabeth VFD extracted the victim from her auto, said Trooper Weekley.
