Myrtle Roach McCauley, 95, of Sandyville

Myrtle McCauley, 95, of Sandyville departed this life 7 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 8, 2003, at the Ravenswood Village Care Center.

She was born Feb. 4, 1908, in Calhoun County, a daughter of the late Andrew J. and Arthelia Kerby Roach.

She is survived by two sons, Frances (Dorthy) McCauley of Ravenswood and Herman J. (Dorothy) of Ravenswood; one daughter, Oleta (Don) Hinzman of Sandyville; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; one step granddaughter; and one sister, Sadie Waggoner of Parkersburg.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Herman, a daughter, a son, a grandson and a great-granddaughter.

She will be greatly missed by a host of relatives and friends. The staff of the Ravenswood Village grieves the loss of their beloved "MaMaw" Myrtle.

Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Friday at Parsons-Waybright Funeral Home, with Pastor S.R. Parsons Jr. officiating. Burial will be in the Independence Cemetery, Sandyville. Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
