OCTOBERFEST A GRAND COMMUNITY EVENT

Octoberfest parade travels south on Route 16 Mr. and Mrs. Gale Tanner carry "Old Glory" It was a festive fundraiser for the Upper West Fork Park Saturday. While the cool and damp weather discouraged parade watchers, it was still a grand community event. Edna Zwoll of Orma was this year's Parade Marshal A vibrant Eucle Knotts, 96, and Jean Boggs, 70, both of Orma are the Senior Octoberfest King and Queen Baton group was a parade entry Damp and cool weather slowed the crowd on the improved Upper West Fork Park grounds Pretty baby winners from years past Apple butter stirrin' on "The Fork"
