CALHOUN COMMISSION WILL SCHEDULE SPECIAL ELECTION

The Calhoun Commission will meet today, Monday at 4 p.m. Some of the items on the agenda include: * Proposed 911 building * Emergency Services special election for fire departments, deputy sheriff and Office of Emergency Services; order for election, amount of money to be raised and date of election * Open bids on roof repair for NYA building, state grant * Approve financial statement year ending June 30 * Computer software for budget and payroll for County Clerk's office * Discuss E-911 problems with addressing; appoint addressing coordinator * Appointments to various boards and authorities, building commission, Rt. 33 road group * Grants, contracts, applications and resolutions * Little Kanawha Area Development Corporation, Diane Ludwig
