CLAY COUNTY GETS $500,000 EDUCATION GRANT

Clay County schools have received a half million dollars from the US Department of Agriculture's Rural Development Program.

The grant will be used to buy new technology that will link all Clay county schools.

The grant is awarded through the distance learning and telemedicine grants program, which is given to projects that aid schools with education tools.

Congresswoman Shelley Moore Capito announced the grant today in Charleston.
