| Dennis W. Kirby, 72 of Big Springs, West Virginia, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday,
September 24th, 2003. He died at Louis A. Johnson VA Medical Center, Clarksburg,
WV.
He was a son of Lola E. Cox Kirby of Big Springs and the late James Okey Kirby. He was a
member of New Testament Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Anna Mae Gillespie Kirby of Big Springs; sons, Mike Kirby of Big
Springs and Roger Kirby of Williamsburg, VA; brother Glennis Buck Kirby of Big Springs;
sisters, Mestil Richards of Harrisville, WV, Wanda Moore of Mogador, Ohio and Betty
Wagoner of Big Bend, WV. Also surviving are five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sons, Randy and Timmy Kirby, one daughter, Dianna
Kirby and two sisters.
Funeral services will be held at Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville, WV at 2 p.m. on Sunday,
September 28, 2003. Evangelist Mike Kirby will officiate. Interment will be in Fluharty
Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday evening from 5 to 8 p.m.
