Geraldine A. Mullenix-Moyers-Cox-Richards, 87, of Harrisville died Sept. 21, 2003, in St. Joseph's Hospital.

She was born March 27, 1916, at Five Forks, Ritchie County, the daughter of the late Stephen Grover "Dock" and Alma Elizabeth Haynes Mullenix.

She was a member of Middle Island Seventh Day Baptist Church of New Milton and attended Harrison Street United Methodist Church, Harrisville. She was a member of the Hope Rebekah Lodge 30, The Ritchie County Historical Society and a former member of the South Fork Grange.

She is survived by her husband of 14 years, the Rev. Donald E. Richards; two sons and two daughters-in-law, Hollis Paul "Paul" and Eva (Williams) Moyers of Mount Hope, Ala., and Calvin Frank and April (May) Moyers of Town Creek, Ala.; five grandchildren; four stepchildren; two brothers, Stephen Grover Jr. "Buck" Mullenix of Pennsboro and Thomas Dewaine "Hezzie" Mullenix of Fleming, Ohio; three sisters, Wilda E. Locke-Trickett of Lubeck, Sarah Ellen Reed of Pennsboro and Leonatine "Teenie" Morris of Harrisville; five great-grandchildren; 19 step great-grandchildren; two step great-great-grandchildren; and many cousins, nephews and nieces.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two husbands, Hollis Hallie "Pete" Moyers and Daniel Hugh Cox; one stepdaughter, Lillian (Moyers) McCormick; two brothers, Paul D. "Dutch" Mullenix and Denzil Hayward Mullenix; and three sisters, Pearl B. Haddox, Lucretia McDonald-Myers and Esther McDella Stutler.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Raiguel Funeral Home, Harrisville, with Rev. Carlton Wilson, Dr. Dale Horngate and Terry McDonald officiating. Burial will follow in the Harrisville IOOF Cemetery. Friends may call from 5:30-9 p.m. today and noon-1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
