Heartha Divers McQuain, 93 - Clarksburg, formerly of Calhoun

Heartha Divers McQuain, 93, of Clarksburg, W.Va., departed this life Sunday, Sept. 14, 2003, at her residence following an extended illness.

She was born July 7, 1910, in Calhoun County, a daughter of William and Dora Mae Bennett Divers. Mrs. McQuain was a graduate of Victory High School in Clarksburg and had worked at Hazel Atlas Glass Company. She was a member of the United Methodist Temple Church in Clarksburg. In the last three years, she was lovingly cared for by Clutter's 24-Hour Care.

Surviving are a niece, Betty Frush of Clarksburg; and several cousins, including Lenora Nicholas of Morgantown, Gary and Jo Ann Nicholas of Jane Lew, W.Va., and Myra Lowe Martis of Morgantown. The last survivor of her immediate family, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard McQuain; one infant sister; and her brother, Lane Divers.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Davis Funeral Home, One Olen Thomas Dr., West Virginia 98, Clarksburg/Nutter Fort, with the Rev. Joy Butcher-Winfree officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park, Mt. Clare, W.Va. Family and friends will be received from 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
