Car and truck strike at Big Springs
A car and truck collided at the foot of Big Springs Hill yesterday afternoon at 1 p.m.
Calhoun EMS and the Grantsville VFD responded, but no one was taken to the
hospital.
At least one person was injured in a roll-over accident on Walker Road yesterday
evening at 5:10 p.m. A male driver or occupant of the wrecked vehicle was taken
to Braxton County Hospital by Calhoun EMS. Other occupants of the auto
reportedly left the scene, but were located by Deputy Sheriff Ron Bandy. The Upper
West Fork VFD responded to the call.
Calhoun EMS and fire services had a busy day, with three emergency calls within
several minutes yesterday evening.
